ABOUT THIS CREATION

In the entrance, a beautiful pot topped with a half-sphere of hazelnuts and soft green moss provides a warm welcome. The round, full shape immediately adds atmosphere to the space, while the natural tones blend harmoniously with wood, pottery, and natural stone. The rich surface draws attention without being obtrusive.

The half-sphere also looks beautiful in the living room. Place it on a tall pot next to a sidetable, on a low dish on the mantelpiece, or as a focal point on a spacious kitchen island. By repeating the same materials in different places, a refined coherence is created in the interior.

The half-sphere also looks great on its own on a table or dresser, but gains extra height and allure when placed on a carefully chosen pot. A dark earthenware pot or a cast-iron French vase enhances the warm color of the hazelnuts, while a light stone version provides a soft contrast. The green moss softens the whole and naturally balances the rich texture.

MATERIAL & CARE

This half-sphere is handmade on a dimensionally stable, lightweight base that is filled with plaster for extra stability. The surface is richly adorned with natural hazelnuts and carefully finished with green moss. The flat bottom has a soft fabric finish to protect the surface or pot on which the creation stands.

Although the half-sphere is sturdy, the hazelnuts and moss remain sensitive to bumps and rough handling. Therefore, handle it with care and preferably lift the creation from the bottom. It is available in diameters of approximately 15, 20, and 30 cm.

Place the half-sphere indoors, preferably in a dry place. Avoid moisture and bright, direct sunlight to keep the colors and structures beautiful for as long as possible. Due to the natural origin of the hazelnuts and moss, the shape, color, and structure may subtly differ per item. These small variations give each creation its own character.
