For an interior that doesn't reveal everything
Some interiors impress without you being able to pinpoint exactly why. Not through a lot of color or striking shapes, but through special materials, beautiful contrasts, and objects that pique your curiosity.
This cone fits into such an interior. The warm, deep tones of the star anise fruit give a rich appearance, while the moss provides softness and tranquility. From a distance, everything forms one calm whole. Only when you come closer do you discover how much there actually is to see.
That's what makes this creation special. Not overtly present, but one of those objects your gaze keeps returning to.
A touch of the worldly, without being exuberant
The natural star anise fruit has something exotic and almost archaic about it. The small fruits, with their irregular shapes and deep earthy tones, evoke special finds from distant lands, collected materials, and interiors where every object seems to have been chosen with care.
Combine the cone with natural stone, dark wood, weathered ceramics, or soft linen, and a rich, understated atmosphere emerges. On a large table or sideboard, a smaller size creates a refined accent. A larger cone on a beautiful pot provides that one powerful element that can give a room character.
The natural colors make it easy to combine and give the creation a timeless character. Beautiful in the warmth of autumn, but just as natural in a calm interior throughout the rest of the year.
Up close, it only gets more beautiful
It's up close that you see how much attention goes into each cone. In our workshop, we apply the natural star anise fruit piece by piece by hand. We incorporate moss between the fruits, making the different forms seem to flow into each other naturally.
We deliberately leave the star anise fruit natural and untreated. This allows the various brown tones, irregular shapes, and small imperfections to remain visible.
The result is never entirely predictable. Each cone acquires its own nuances and thus its own character due to the material.

Dimensions
The cone is available in three sizes:

30 cm: base approximately 10 cm, height approximately 30 cm

40 cm: base approximately 12 cm, height approximately 40 cm
-
50 cm: base approximately 15 cm, height approximately 50 cm
Due to the application of the star anise fruit and moss, the final width will be approximately 4 to 5 cm larger than the base. Small differences are possible as each creation is built with natural materials.
Material & care
The cone is made on a sturdy cardboard base, which is filled with plaster for extra stability. The exterior is carefully constructed with natural star anise fruit and moss. The underside has a soft fabric finish to help protect the surface.
Use the cone indoors in a dry, sheltered place. Avoid prolonged moisture, strong direct sunlight, and rough handling. Although the star anise fruit is firm in shape, it remains a natural material. Therefore, handle the cone carefully when moving it.
